Data-intensive HD signals often cause problems with transmission distances above 10 m (32.8 ft.)! The new HDMI®-over-FIBER system from CARDINAL-DVM enables those signals to be transmitted, together with RS232 and infrared information, error-free over distances of up to 300 m (984 ft.) using a single OM3-multimode line. Hereby EDID data are transmitted bi-directionally, and the HDCP copy protection standard is supported up to version 2.2. The connectors for power supply, HDMI® and IR/RS232 are robust HICON all-metal types and thus perfectly suitable for the tough use “on the road”. For the reliable connection of the fiber optic cable we offer a version with HICON-FIBER4 and another version with NEUTRIK® opticalCON® DUO panel socket. The complete DVM-HDFKA device kits are the cost-efficient carefree package for the HDMI® signal transmission via FOC. They include transmitters, receivers, fiber optic cables, power supplies and 1.5 m (4.92 ft.) HDMI® connection cables.
