Like the liana which Tarzan uses to swing from tree to tree, some clever stagehands let the microphones dangle from the truss. We as a cable manufacturer see this with great skepticism, but also as a challenge. So we have designed a robust microphone cable especially for use on the planks that mean the world. Ideal for theater stages, musical sets and big live events. Simply take a wire pair with 0,34 mm², fine copper wires, strand some aramid strain relief elements around them and apply a special TPE SP jacket (Ø 7,30 mm) by extrusion-coating – and here it is, the micro liana. We have woven the shielding of a tin-plated copper braid with double-sided banding in a movement optimized angle so that the robust cable is also easy to drum and, besides fixed installations, may also be used for mobile applications. The Tempoflex Microphone can withstand temperatures from -20 °C to +110 °C.
