...was the aim of the DIN 15765 new regulation. For in Germany it was not unusual that different parts of the country had also different allocation standards for load multicores. Since April 2010 we’ve had this unified standard “for the connection and distribution of several power circuits in the mobile production and event business“.
As opposed to the previous standards, now the connectors to be used as well as the respective wiring schemes are also laid down in unified form. On the other hand, the wire cross-sections and number of conductors have changed only little or not at all. The systems offered here comply 100 % with this standard.
Our robust SOMMER CABLE MULTIPIN DISTRIBUTORS are the best choice where several individual fixtures (theatre spots / single PAR spots / floor spots / audience blinders etc.) are to be connected to a load multicore. Due to their very compact, solid design they are also ideal for use in or on trussing systems.
The distribution boxes have a powder-coated, rugged sheet steel housing equipped with high-quality Mennekes Schuko sockets plus two M10 threads for taking up e.g. threaded eyelets or mini TV spigots. powerCON® version is fitted with 12 powerCON® sockets (2 per channel). All are optionally available with either one or two 16-pole multipin connectors from ILME (compatible with Harting HAN E series) and now also with HI-SOCA19 connectors (compatible with Socapex 419).
Suitable for an easy load feed-in – e.g. on dimmers without an MP output – is the multipin socket p 6 x Schuko connectors version which are fitted with our robust Rubberflex and the ultrasolid Mennekes Schuko cable connectors. The splice is clearly marked with shrunk-on numbers. The multipin distributors are supplied fully wired.
