With our 4-pushbutton module. We all know it, right? A video switcher needs to be installed in a conference room. And everything should be easy and user-friendly to operate. A device operation on the unit itself will often overwhelm the customer: too complicated – too complex – too many or simply inaccessible controls. The beamer on the ceiling, the video switcher in the cabinet or operating a media controller – with the 4-button modules (e.g. integrated into a wall or a table) this is so easy to do at the touch of a button! The 4 short-travel buttons with clear glass caps (12 x 12 mm / 0.47 x 0.47 in.) are lit by LED and can be labeled individually (templates with common functional descriptions are included). Via software each button is individually programmable to any RS232 command (operating modes: latched or unlatched switching), likewise every LED can be programmed individually. Up to 16 modules can be powered on one bus by one power supply, the network connections are made using standard RJ45 cables and – with an AWG24 wire cross-section – limited to a total length of no more than 25 m (82 ft.). As programming interface we have provided a type B mini USB socket.
