In particular the SC-ALBEDO stands out by its 100 % dense multiple shielding and a lively, detailed reproduction. The tightly stranded OFC wires are fitted with a highly conductive conductor smoothing. It ensures optimum conductance plus lasting corrosion protection and in addition protects the copper against adverse effects from the plasticiser contained in the PVC.

The insulation consists of a polypropylene composite. The tightly stranded andtinned outer helical mesh screen and the coated aluminium foil provide a very good protection against HF and AF interference.

Due to its tight stranding and the use of superfi ne single wires (0.05 mm) the SC-ALBEDO has very good capacitive values and a low conductor resistance – as we ourselves expect it from a reference cable. And the SC-ALBEDO – here’s good news for you – is still affordably priced. We use high-quality HICON RCA connectors with S-PTFE insulation, a hard gold-plated solid pin and a gold-plated strain relief. For balanced applications also available with “SATIN“ XLR connectors whose male and female versions both have turned, hard gold-plated contacts and a capacitive cable screen-to-shell connection against HF interference.
