Is provided by our extremely flexible PUR-Field SC-Octupus-PUR cable which in principle, just like the installation version, is equipped with 4 x OM3 highspeed optical fibers. This allows the cost-efficient utilization of fiber-optical systems in the mobile sector, for the cable is not thicker and not heavier than an AF cable, but many times more robust. As with the above-mentioned installation version, the splice point shows our proven double bolting with a silicon divider. Moreover, the splice has a protector tube which serves both as transport protection and pulling/reeling device. Like with the installation version we use connectors “made in Germany” here as well which are handcrafted, machine-polished and equipped with a test report. In combination with the proven cable drums from SCHILL we also deliver a compact and light-weight drum solution in 2 different versions: 1.) with an auxiliary winding, i.e. 2 m (6.6 ft.) of the cable are applied as an auxiliary winding on the drum. 2.) with panel connectors on the drum, i.e. The drum core is equipped with corresponding installation sockets.
