Compared with the 120 series, this is a ¼-19“ module (3 WU) for integration into the SYSBOXX housing system. Here our customers' and users' wishes were clearly paramount. For in the commercial sector it's not always easy to find the right devices for integration. Moreover, they should be easy and intuitive to operate – as specialists aren't always available for these tasks. Another important aspect is the compact integration into furniture or racks as the connections aren't always in the right place. The combination of SYSBOXX standard components with the new DVM 194 series provides a previously unknown flexibility and clarity because device and cabling system can be combined in one unit.

A dual-channel amplifier with rear XLR inputs, tone control and level control provides the basis for the main path. There is an additional auxiliary input (front or back) with an XLR/jack combi socket which can be mixed to the main signal using a dedicated control.
The stereo switch is used to switch between stereo and mono modes. In stereo mode, the sub/pan control is used for setting the balance of the main signal. In mono mode, the Aux and Sub-inputs are mixed with the main path via their own controls – which makes a compact three-channel mixer.
Two headphone outputs are available via 6.3 mm jack sockets (front or back) – both with individual level controls. In addition, the signal can also be picked off balanced male XLR outputs (with ground lift switch). The inputs are electronically balanced and canbe switched from +4 dBu to –10 dBV nominal level.
Power is provided by the appropriate 24 VDC, 4-pin XLR (15 VA) power supply DVM -194-PS.

To protect the ears and the headphone output is equipped with an automatic limiter.
