DVM 120 DIT Tube Direct Box – the flexible tool for sensitive sources
In our “pick of the bunch“ we have matched a very high-Z input and a buffered high-class valve stage which generates a high proportion of evenorder harmonics. After the valve stage a proven LUNDAHL transformer feeds its balanced and electrically isolated signal to an XLR output. But we have also added an extra slave jack output for the instrument amplifier so that you can enjoy the good valve tone directly from your amp as well. The input has two bridged 6.3 mm (1/4") jack sockets. The GAIN switch is used to select the gain factor. A ground lift switch for the input section and a ground ON switch for the XLR output help to avoid ground loops.
